You folks walking up on smog stations need a reality check - they are no different than speed traps. Never ever just drop in and think your vehicle will pass. ALWAYS get a pre-test, especially if your vehicle sits or is older. The last thing you want on your vehicles' smog record are test failures. Line enough of them up and you get tossed into gross polluter status and that will cause you to go to a test only station every year. Smogs are not to be taken lightly at all.
