A heat gun works well too to bring the black back, like using a torch but it's safer & easier. This method doesn't last forever but it lasts longer than most stuff in a can or bottle. It's funny and amazing to watch a heat gun or torch work on grayed fenders, it's like they were spraying out black paint instead of heat.
Probably the best long-term fix is to paint them with Krylon Fusion which is specially formulated to stick to flexible plastics. Rustoleum has a new paint out to compete with Krylon's Fusion but I haven't tried it yet. The Krylon Fusion works really well, I just got through going through a few cans of it.
