Yeah, most of the ones around where I grew up were ground squirrels, but 15 minutes out of town we had more grey squirrels than you...well, a bunch. My dad's coworker lived "up on the mountain" and we'd go up there every month or so and go shooting. He didn't want us shooting the grey squirrels (tree squirrels) because in the fall/winter (I think it was very late and early part of the year) he'd eat 'em. The guy looked like Grizzly Adams and drove about 100 miles round trip to and from work. Can you imagine having Grizzly Adams representing you in court, right after a squirrel sandwich or something (he was an attorney)? I never tried squirrel, but sure might one of these days
