Ron.....we too will bring a couple extra 5 gallon water containers (with H2O) to contribute to the cause. I was working through various scenarios for a mid-trip shower.....yours sounds MUCH better than some of the ideas I had! LOL


Unless you need them in transit. We can fill them in Yucca Valley. Good last minute place to get ice also.




Oh....I almost forgot to ask....Donna was wondering if anyone was brining a Dutch Oven?
We do not own one. I guess that's a no. btw- how much salt does it take to brine a Dutch Oven? Do you use iodized or just normal table salt? Or, is it something more exotic like rock salt for water softener systems? After you get done brining it, then what? Does it make it cook better or is this some AZ bizarre way of seasoning cast iron? Enquiring minds want to know.
