Happy Ending
A week or so ago, I ordered a Top Tote for my new JK from Quadratec. It arrived on Friday and I tried to install it on Saturday. but it just wouldn't fit as indicated in the instructions. I tried again on Sunday, but no joy. So I came in and sent an email to Misch 4x4 Products in Coffeyville, KS noting my frustrations. This morning I received an email from Doug Misch inviting me to call him, which I did. His conclusion was that Quadratec had shipped me version "A" of his product when what I needed was version "B" which had been modified to fit the 4 door JK.
Doug's solution: He will ship me the correct product today, which will include an UPS sticker to ship the one I received back to him and he will coordinate with Quadratec for any procedural matters. I was delighted.
In my 50, or so, years of off roading, my relationships with aftermarket companies has not always been so smooth. My hat is off to Doug Misch and his policy of 100% customer satisfaction.
