I don't recall receiving flowers by a lady, but this story of mine comes to mind & kind of sounds like a chapter from a romance novel.
While dating a girl who sometimes stayed at my house while I went to work, I arrived home & when I went upstaires to my bedroom, I noticed lots of red rose petals scattered along the staircase leading to my room. As I opened the door, the trail led to the bed & she was awaiting my arrival correctly dressed, or should I say undressed?
As for the source of the roses; while I was at work she did some yardwork for me.
