Well, I couldn't pull off Blaine's airbox trick with the 3.3L box... as usual the under hood configuration of the 4cyl TJ makes everything "tight" back in that area.
BUT, I found a rather unique compromise solution... What are the ramifications of having the airbox on its head? Pretty much no weep holes for drainage comes to mind. But other than that, it fits very nicely oriented this way.
I have the 90* piece on just for the picture, as I haven't marked for the hole yet, but I really do like the way it all lines up, actually. It doesn't even look all too bizarre
