It appealse to more crowds, I.E. the crazy offroad race, nascar, autoracing etc..
Seems like alot of big sponsors are venturing that way...

Who's future? It's not going to draw stadium sized crowds, and after seeing pictures of the first event, I don't know how some of the teams are going to be able to keep up with maintenance if they run a lot of those events.
