Get yourself 2 hammers. Hold one behind the draglink next to the stud and then use the other to knock the stud loose by hitting the draglink right
next to the stud, opposite from the other hammer.
Stus' way is the correct way... our So Cal way is driveway proven and the tools are easily accessible - like what Jeeper doesn't own a couple of hammers
