I can't see any "tear" damage in that pic. Looks like all corrosive damage. Must be using some thin stuff for those mounts, maybe mixed with poor coating and/or easy corroding properties??
weird, esp for an AZ rig. Could it be the sand rubbing through and accelerating the corroding process??
