For what it is worth, my parents received stellar service from the Jeep dealership in Redlands, when they were up in Big Bear and had to take their XJ in for emergency repairs.
So maybe, it's worth it for you to drive off the mountain in the other direction.

I might try Redlands in the future, but I dropped the Jeep off at Don-A-Vee in Placencia, and 24 hours later I recieved a call, the Jeep is done!! They replaced the front powertrain control module, and everything is fixed like new. I am very happy with Don-A-Vee and can't say enough good things about them. Their service to us was OUTSTANDING!
I wish I would have just gone there in the first place.
