It has nothing to do with a soft economy.
I stopped going to goodguys once Bestbuy showed up.
And Fry's for that matter.
All you have to do is look at how busy those places are any time of the day and you can figure out pretty quickly what happened to good guy's customers.
(I have no idea how circuit city is still around).
