My roommates dell laptop battery was getting so hot he was unable to touch the keyboard. He called and Dell's customer service was absolutely awful. At first they refused to replace it under warranty. A recall has since been issued but, unable to wait around with a useless computer, he had to order a new battery on his own dime.
