Personally, if I didn't drive the jeep on road so much, I'd be running spool rear, detroit front. Easy, reliable and very predictable. I typically will lock front and rear when I get on trail and only unlock the front when I remember. So most of the time I run spool front and rear anyhow. With hydraulic assist steering, I don't notice it.
