3N10 - John Bull Trail
I was up on John Bull (3N10) this Saturday with the Adopt-a-Trail club for the trail (the intent being to write the annual Road Maintenance Plan), unfortunately the east end is blocked (downed tree)
![]() The first tree (just west of the 3N32/3N10 intersection) we managed to winch off the trail (well, 90% - we still need to do some saw work). Unfortunately, just above Gatekeeper, there's a second tree that we couldn't get to from the east side. Until we can either get a line on it from the west side. or chainsaw it - John Bull is effectivly blocked to westbound traffic. There is no way to legally go around the tree. If you could please pass this on to anyone who might be interested I'd appreciate it. We realize that this is rapidly becoming the "busy season", and we'll get this taken care of as soon as possible. Mods - if this is the wrong place to put this, feel free to move it. Jeff McRae OHV76V SBNF Adopt-a-Trail Programs/Big Bear Coordinator

Thanks Scott. I'm hoping that we already have it taken care of - waiting to hear back from my "saw crew". If they haven't gotten to it yet, I'll get ahold of you and maybe you can lend a "support" hand.
Unfortunately, there isn't a situation where we (FS) can allow you to use your saw on the trail legally.
