I miss my old garage!
We moved 3 weeks ago and the 3-car garage is still so jammed with boxes and junk that I have no hope of getting the Jeep inside to do any work on it until probably this summer. The house is full too so I can't just unpack them and put the stuff away. We moved my elderly parents in with us (though my 95 year-old step dad died 12/20, 2 days before the move-in) so I have two households worth of junk and furniture to deal with!
Brake lines, valve springs, adjustable rear swaybar and bracket, all kinds of stuff to install and work needed on the Jeep and no place to do it... I can kinda see the air compressor in the middle of the garage surrounded by crap and sealed unmarked cardboard boxes. Nope I'm not begging for the use of a garage, I'm just venting! |

Jerry,
Sorry to hear about the loss of your stepdad. As for working on the Jeep, who needs a garage? That's what driveways are for! I'm sure your wife won't mind a few grease spots.

Hi Jerry,
I feel for you. Try this...... One box at a time, no more then 5 boxes a day (or something like that.) (This creates a pace, a goal and a rule you can live with!) Before you know it you'll have that nice three car garage all freed up! Good luck! Frank |

Let me know when Scott, you were good enough to help me on my SYE installation! By the way, a bunch of us are doing Calico this coming weekend... Peggy Sue's Saturday at 9am starts it off.

Jerry,
Have you thought about getting/using/erecting a couple of those metal sheds in your backyard. This might just be the solution to your garage/storage problems. If you rent a storage space, you'll keep on paying over & over. Reserecting a shed usually takes only a few hours & a couple $100. I'b be more than happy to assist if you decide to go this route. As far as working on your Jeep, you're always welcome to stop by. |
