new D44 axle housing (rear)
Hello all,
the Jeep is at the point that I'll have to look for a new rear D44 housing for the TJ, at least that's the way it looks right now. The axle seals, even after replacement leak a little (bent axle?) and the bottom of the diff is almost worn through to the threads on the bottom diff bolts. Any suggestions? I'm planning on keeping the Super 44 set up with Detroit locker and 4.88 gears, so it needs to be interchangeable with the current D44. Anyone got one laying around or know of a place to get an empty housing at a reasonable price (Currie, Dynatrac, G2 ... even though they don't show empty housings)?
