I need Stock TJ Door Mirror Mounts and Stirrups

I need Stock TJ Door Mirror Mounts and Stirrups

Hi Folks, I am looking for two parts that I don?t seem to be able to find anywhere.

I need a set (two) of stock mirror mounts. This is not the entire door mirrors but rather the part that bolts to the door hinge that the mirror itself mounts to.

The Jeep I am working on belongs to a 5-foot, 1-inch young Lady (my daughter). The previous owner relocated the mirrors to the windshield frame using relocation brackets and tossed out the original door mounts brackets.

Does anyone know where I can pick up a set of original TJ mirror mounts for the doors. Or does anyone have a set they would like to sell to me?

I also need to find a way to get the same 5? 1? young lady into this rather lifter Jeep.

I remember seeing somewhere a while back what looked like a stirrup (think horse saddle stirrup) that could be dropped down from inside the Jeep rocker to the outside so it could be used to give a leg hold / step to get in.

Once in you pulled it back inside the Jeep and it sat between the Seat and the Inner rocker panel.

Does anyone know who sells these things?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have a great evening,

Frank

Frank,

can't help you on the mirror mounts, since I don't have any hard doors anymore, but the 'stir up' set up is sold by quite a few Jeep vendors:
one of them being 4wd

Frank,

I think I have the mounts you need. I'll check the garage this afternoon but since I am moving, a lot of my stuff is in boxes... just need to find the right one.

I'm about 95% sure on it. PM me your address, if I have them I'll drop them in the mail on Saturday.

Patrick

I'm now 100% sure that I have them, since I'm holding them.

Frank,

No problem. You've already paid me back plenty over the years with your interesting write-ups.

No cost. I hope they work out for you.

Hi Patrick,

The Mirror mounts you sent to me arrived today.

Thank you my friend.

I put them in the bead blasting cabinet and cleaned them all off of paint. Tomorrow I will apply a fresh coat of Hammerite Black.

I appreciate this very much. I hope I can repay the favor someday soon.

God Bless,

Frank
