Cutch and Miss Sue are no longer due

With a very heavy heart I am very sad to say that at week 15 we lost our baby...it was a boy and his name would have been Mason (Sonny for a nickname)....we have been very blessed with our 3 children...this would have been the icing on the cake as all 4 would have been about 20 months apart.....it is a difficult time as my father is in the hospital and does not look like he will come home again....I've looked after him for years and tried to keep him in his own home for as long as possible...we where in the process of moving him to our house..he is going into multiple organ failure....heart/lungs/liver/kidneys....so sad

My condolences, I'm very sorry to read about the loss of your baby Ian. Sad news about your dad too, I hope he does as well as possible.

Hard times always get better. Hug the wife and kids and know it will get better. I'm going thru similar thing with my parents and it is one drama after another. Sometimes I feel guilty for being desensitized to their suffering. The latest bout I thought was the end of the rope for my dad but he pulled thru for another day.

Everyday we have our parents is a good day. It will be tough but you'll know you did everything in your power to comfort and love him.

My heart is with you!

Gerald

It's been 6 weeks since our news....we are coping with the dissapointment.....it was not meant to be...I would like to thank everyone for their concerns....especially the pm's I received...we will try again but for only a short time.

My father is still very ill....I think it is only a matter of days...though I didn't think he would still be here today.....breaks my heart to see him in the condition he is in....just not fair...he is too good of a man and father

Wow Ian, I'm really sorry for what you've had to go through recently and now what you're facing with your dad. At least you are able to be with him, that's a comfort for all concerned. My dad died well over 20 years ago but I still miss him a lot. Heck I still choke up if I think much about him being gone.

Hang in there Ian, I know these are very sad days for you and the family.

An update: my Father passed away this morning....it was his time and was a wonderful day for him to leave....my 3 children got to say gooodbye to him as well....I can't believe the finality to this....it is interesting upon notifying certain people about this event how emotional I became....though some of my friends I haven't had a constant connection with came to the forefront...only shows that old friendsips never go away
