Bar Pin Eliminators

So I'm getting the classic clunk in the rear of the TJ, I'm almost positive its the shocks clunking around back there.

Are the JKS BPE's the best way to go?

Thanks

Justin

I have them in my TJ. I did it to get rid of the classic rear clunk. It didn't get rid of the clunking. Turns out that Teraflex arms are junk and always clunk
Guess I should get off my butt one of hese days and install those Currie arms I bought.

Back on subject though. I do really like the BPEs. No more worries of that stupid bar pin breaking or coming out. They are a pain to get lined up properly in the rear and I ended up ruining the bolts that come with them. Do the top of the shock first and then connect the bottom. Don't try it the other way.

Chris

Justin,

They worked well for me while I had them on the rear shocks. I don't remember having an install issues, but I also don't have ChrisK's blue TJ so that most likely would account for the difference.

And Chris....YES....get off your BUTT and put that Jeep together so we can go wheelin'!

Yeah yeah..... one of these days
Actually, the Jeep is 100% together. My battery went bad from inactivity though. Stupid Optima. I need to switch to deep cycle since I don't drive it that much anymore. Joey K commented the other day that I must have bought my Jeep to wrench on instead of wheel. Too much truth in that lately.
I was actually considering taking it down again for brake upgrades (rear disks and bigger front disks) but I'm waiting on Blaine's input on the second set he installs. My brakes just plain suck bad.

I'm so busy building my airplane right now that all other projects have been moved back a bit.

Thanks for the input.

I know the bushings have almost slipped out completely on my shocks so thats obviously the problem, and I don't feel like fixing them for a 3rd time
