D35 Rear axle outboard bearings....
The D 35 has the stupidest bearing design ever on the outer bearings... the axle is the bearing race.... so if your bearings go bad they gouge your axle shafts... can't the bearings be cartriges pressed onto the shaft like a 9".... that sure would make pulling those suckers easier as welll.... grrrrr.....
Gotta go home and try the puller i made today at work! Tim 94 ZJ I-6 Laredo, np231, 7" custom Long Arms, 33x12.50 TSL Radials, lots of other stuff

Most if not all c-clipped rears work that way. I toasted a shaft on my 8.8 back when I was racing my Mustang. It did just that, bearing went bad and killed the shaft. Hey another reason to stick with a 9" instead of the 8.8".
