Custom radiator
I just put in a smb in my 48 Willys with the stock transmission, transfer case, and over drive from a 57 jeep. The adapter plate for the chevy bellhousing and stock transfer case moved the motor a head far enough so I don't have to cut my fire wall.
I do have to have a custom radiator built to move it into my grill area. Has anyone ever done this? Thank you, Bruce

Many folks cut the grille between the headlilght buckets. Griffin makes a 3 core alum that fits in well. Sorry, I don't have any pics of the one in my V6 flattie that I had.

custom radiator
Hi Tumbleweed,
Thanks for the information. I have some extra grills. So I will check into that. I may have found a shop to build me a radiator also. From Jegs auto parts I found a electric water pump that saves me a 1" too. I'm doing everything I can so I won't have to cut my fire wall. Thanks, Bruce
