Sure is quite in here

So lets do some 3D. Though most of my work is in SW 2012 I still mess with the 3D world. Life is getting a bit better so we will do some re-model of our home entertainment area.

Looks like this, yeah the old rear projection took a dump and no money to replace it.

The 3D re-model is this, still work in progress, LED is a 60 inch. Just like camera work the lighting is low so a bit grainy, the actual light is a HDRI image coming through the windows , I'll adjust the light later.

Once I have a bit more lighting I will expect that the textures will be more like the below.

Refrig, The texture map is this: I use 3 objects to review bump mapping

The floor tile:

If I get into metal a procedure rust map:

Once I get this right I'll use a voronoi fracture, we have lots of earth quakes here so lets see what it looks like crumbled!

How is this progressing. Getting close to implementing the design in real life?

Implementation most likely next year. Added Some coil overs. What will be hard is to find anyone in El Centro to do the cabinet. The sheet rock stuff isn't a problem.

I need to add some internal lighting, the hdri lighting is a bit dark.

I have built in dolby 7.1 in the ceiling , I'll need to add the speakers and ceiling fan. May take the hallway ( next to the fridge) and turn it into a space science fiction hallway thing for the fun of it.

Still need to add the small details that are missing.

Modeling in vertices, edges and planes takes a bit of time.

Oh wife wants to see a different paint scheme on the walls.....

You know...always wanted a tunnel to the garage to check out the junk.

Heres the concept. The hdri is the grand canyon. There is some hdri leaching through the ceiling.. need to clamp the ceiling down a bit.

No textures applied. Perhaps some neat lighting and steam coming out of something later.

Comments?

This looks like a part of a big spacecraft.

Yes it does. Working on some panels which will be copy and pasted to get more details. Heres the concept.

Dont have much time to work this but the open box to the right will be probably a slot for cards of some sort.
