Got my "M"
Took the MSF class this weekend and passed. It was tough but fun. I do recommend this class for anyone interested in riding or needs a little brush up. NJ has 2 free places but I'm not sure about any of the other states. www.msf-usa.org
If anyone wants any details of the course I took or drill ideas, let me know. I'm too tired to type a long coherent message so I'm keeping it brief. |

Yep, congrats... have fun with it. Just remember that every automobile driver is out to kill every motorcycle driver on the road.
I have kept my 'M' on my Calif. license current (you only need to take the written), though the last time I really rode regularly was 1972 when I sold my motorcycle. So even though I no longer know what I'm doing on a motorcycle and I would likely kill myself on the street if I attempted to ride from one end of town to the other, I am still perfectly legal. |

Congratulations!
Now, all you need to do is join a motorcycle gang, with a flashy name like "Cobras", or "Hell's Satans". |

Passig the MSF doesn't automatically give you the right to be on the roads (though some may say it does). It does give you the right to practice legally in parking lots and drive in school zones when the lights are blinking.
I'll be very careful as I don't feel like dying in the near future. The bike comes Saturday. |
