If I had the cash, or even credit, I'd tell 'em to finish it up and call me when it's ready.

Oh yes, the obligatory puddle of gear oil under the axle. If it?s not leaking, it?s not a real Currie 9?.

I wonder what kind of interest rate I could get on a personal loan for 45k. might have to look into it...

You should do a home equity loan rather than personal, much better rates, plus you get to deduct some of the interest on your taxes.

That's sweet, but I'd rather have one with two seats. Of course, I don't think my wife would be riding with me on the trails I could do with that thing.....

I've always felt the lack of room for tools/spares would be the downfall, of course, I could rent space to you in my buggy Campbell's built one hell of a nice rear engine two seater awhile back.
couldn't find pics, but i'm pretty sprung on this too http://campbellent.com/full%20size%2...KERRYW0032.JPG as low as a moon buggy is, I think you could put a small rack on the roof or above the engine or something that could hold water/food. of course, there's always co2, recovery, cb, a million other things to stuff in there somewhere. |

too many negatives in a buggy like that to be useful for an all day trail rig, plus the tow rig and trailer... ahhh well, it was a nice thought.
sure was fun driving cody's rig...

I don't see what the big deal about having no room on a rig like that is.
Just throw a couple of racks on it, and you're good to go. I'm sure Conferr has something that will fit on a moon buggy. |

I really like the idea of taking equity out of a house in a falling real estate market and then putting it towards a depreciating asset such as a moon buggy.

After talking with some shops and competitors I think it's because they're trying to push the pro-mod class so they can build OEM style buggies and get OEM sponsorship $$$$. One classic example would be the Lovell Bros. with the Ford Ranger buggy.

Makes sense. I'd like to see some better 3d panels on the jeep lookin' rigs. They seem to get a free pass. Shouldn't be hard to glass some rails like the top of a tub. Especially now that half the buggies are Twisted Customs That's cool because then when I'm ready for something new, all the current TC Pro Mod rigs will be up for sale! I think Bulloch shoulda used a Zuk front end on his, but wtf do I know?

I think its because everyone is aware that the future of rockcrawling is going to end up being that new ROCKCROSS event..
It appealse to more crowds, I.E. the crazy offroad race, nascar, autoracing etc.. Seems like alot of big sponsors are venturing that way...
