transmission jack

the way i see it, i have two choices for getting the ax-15 out and the aw4 in...

gonna need the jack..

i could buy a tranny jack or get the adapter that drops into the 1 1/8" hole on my floor jack.

will the second less expensive option work as well?

get the harbor freight transmission jack. it is like a manual scissor lift, and works great. i have done 4-5 transmissions with it and it is still holding up fine.

Have you looked into renting a tranny jack? I usually just muscle them in and out, but with your bad arm I know that's not possible right now.
