A good start on an offroad trailer
For Dave Weston. He asked me to make a few mods to a little military trailer he drug up in the driveway.
His list went as follows- Cut in a tailgate and stop it from being floppy afterwards. Make the tailgate so you could sit on it without the trailer being hooked to anything and the tongue wouldn't lift. Convert the drums to 5 on 4.5 so the new 33's would fit. Make new fenders for the 33's. Install a tongue jack with a caster so it could easily be pushed around. The storage trays were my idea after needing a way to brace the lower edges of the fenders. So this is what I came up with. The tongue jack has a pivot for the caster that you unlock to lock the caster up out of the way when towing.
