San Diego area people

As it's been quite the number of years since I have visited San Deigo, is there still that trolley that will take me to the Border crossing? Palm Springs was full the weekend my wife and I decided we need to get away and San Diego has always been on our list of places to visit. We figured we could hit TJ. for one day but I don't wish to drive. As a kid, I do recall a red trolley that went to the border. Still exist?
Thanks.

Yes the trolley is available. I am not sure what is there to see in Tijuana, I've never been there. I think people go there for underage drinking, adult entertainment, and to stack up on cheap drugs.

Don't go to TJ to shop. People from TJ come to shop here.

I'd recommend spending your time in San Diego. The new aircraft-carrier museum, Midway, is fantastic. So is the San Diego maritime museum. Among other paces to see are Balboa Park, Hotel Coronado, Sea World, Zoo and Wild Animal Park.

Sadly that is true, as the donkey show was cancelled a number of years ago.
