The return to Red Rock: Saturday, Feb. 2nd.

This mellow, scenic run will leave from the Jawbone OHV ranger station at 9AM, Saturday, February 2nd. The Jawbone Station is located on the left side of Highway 14, 20 miles northeast of the 14/58 split in Mojave. This will be an ALL day trip, bring plenty of water, lunch and a few snacks. Dress for the cold high desert weather. We will drive up through the narrows in Goler Gulch to see the petroglyphs, then head over to visit Tonie Seger and the Burro Schmidt tunnel. After that, we'll head out either Last Chance Canyon or Iron Canyon. It will be pretty much a duplicate of the trip I took with Chris early last month, so if you haven't already seen the pictures from the other thread, check 'em out.

I would like to go but we have an emergency wrenching session this weekend. I was supposed to go to the MDA thing but this is more my cup of tea. Maybe we can get another trip schedule for later in the month with enough notice?

Ace!, I don't know how many trucks will be there until I get there. The trail is easy enough for a stock Jeep to go through no problem.

Robert- I don't have any more runs planned for the near future but maybe sometime in March we could do a 3 day trip through Saline and Eureka Valleys in DV.
