Home theater shoot, yep, another one of those

This is my second home theatre shoot with the new camera (D3). This time I used flash (pointed straight up to the ceiling, with a little bit of light bounced forward by a white card), and the results are better. The only issue I see here is that even though I put an orange filter on the flash head, I still did not have the flash perfectly balanced color-wise with the ambient light. As the result the color fluctuates from one picture to another, depending on how much of the overall light was contributed by the flash.

Since I shoot RAW (NEF), this can be corrected in post-processing (If only I had patience to manually tweak each of the pictures, ha, ha, ha).

The after-party must get pretty wild if you need to have a fire extinguisher on standby, or is a prop for the act?
