Canon Digital Rebel XT Accessory needed

My wife has the Canon Digital Rebel XT (almost Old School now, but whe loves it!). A friend that we visited in NoCal last fall has one as well, but his had an added accessory that my wife would like. It's a mechanism that fits on the back of the camera body, which covers the buttons and the preview screen. The buttons are still functional, and the part that covers the screen sort of flips open when you want to look at the screen (screen is protected from scuffs, etc). Does anyone know what this might be called, and where I might get one? I guess my Google skills are lacking today, as I haven't had any luck there. I can't get a hold of our friend, so I thought I'd try here.

Her birthday is coming up, and this would be a cool little gift 'from the kids'.
