Carrizo Gorge

Been trying to get to the Goat canyon Bridge. So I desided to take the gorge route. Easy... yeah my butt. Theres a section that is a swamp, with verticle walls. Had to to some climbing. 3 miles ended up about 4 hrs. Not a user friendly gorge.

That train track way up there.

The Bridge ended climbing the west wall about 500ft for this shot.

Rest HERE

Think I'll take the train next time.

Thanks Joe,
I hear theres a DC-3 or some old prop passager plane on the north ridge some place north of McCain. It was one of San Diegos worst air diasters of the 50's. I might go look fer it.

If you find it, all the cash money , gold, silver, jewels, etc belong to me. I just left 'em there and was planning on returning to pick them up.

Sounds like a fun trip.
