Hello all.
Hi, my name is Jesse, I'm a carpenter, and I live in S.F. CA.
Some familiar names on the board, people I've met and or wheeled with in places ranging from trails in AZ to Johnson Valley, CA and the northern Sierra rock trails. This is my daily driver... ...it's a '93 with 4.5"s of lift, an AX15, AtlasII(which I just installed), 4.56 gears and OX lockers in the D30/D44 combo. I've installed a whole lotta other stuff over the years but I won't bore you with specifics. See y'all on the trail. Jes |

Welcome to the board.
Yeah, the non-bus drivers are envious. Hunter

Hey it's cool.
Paul, I used the Atlas for the first time this weekend, Andy and I ran Fordyce. I must say what a difference. Not having to ever use the clutch makes taking the hard lines so much easier. Thanks for selling me on it, best mod I've made. Jes |

Hi Jes,
it was good to meat you guys on the cleanup run. I'll be honest, when I heard 5 XJs were coming in from the tahoe side I thought we'd be picking up tail lights and bumper parts instead of trash

It was good to meet ya too, we'll be in JV the weekend before Thanksgiving if you're interested. I think Jack Hammer and Wrecking Ball are on the menu, maybe something on Sunday as well. Jes |

So Dan, did your friend with the ZJ ever figure out the problem with his OX(not)locker?

O means Open. X means cross your fingers and hope it locks We screwed around with it several times but it would not stay locked on the trail. It appeared to be locked when we put it up on bottle jacks in camp, but would not stay locked. I was behind him several times and could see one tire sliipping. I printed out Franks adjustment writeup and had it with me, but it didn't work. We tried the advice you guys gave him, but it didn't work. anyway, his front trackloc saved his bacon. we gave up on him being locked in back and just spotted him knowing that. That and we stacked a bunch of rocks. Once we got past spider heading to loon, the trail is pretty easy and he didn't have much trouble. I don't think we strapped him at all on sunday. I'm not sure what his plans are to fix it, maybe LOX Locker (Lincoln -OX )

Actually, I was wondering if he had fixed it since then.
For the record, mine actually work. Jes |

I doubt he has touched them since the trip.
I haven't seen him since...
