steering stabilizer
replaceing my stock stabilizer with a skyjacker oem replacement any tricks to getting the bolt out of thr trak bar. wont seem to budge thxs chip

It is a tapered stud....so the same techniques used to extract any taper bolt will work....like when getting the tie rod end out of the steering knuckle.
I used this method with good results, although I've done it other ways too. |

Bah,
Get yourself 2 hammers. Hold one behind the draglink next to the stud and then use the other to knock the stud loose by hitting the draglink right next to the stud, opposite from the other hammer. Stus' way is the correct way... our So Cal way is driveway proven and the tools are easily accessible - like what Jeeper doesn't own a couple of hammers |

As for my picture is concerned....one correct to it.....leave the nut threaded on 5 or 6 threads worth.....it will capture the stud when it lets loose. A fair amount of energy can build up when you torque on the puller. |
