Ram assist specs

What is the current configuratio most on here are running.
A year ago I went with a Lee ram and 808 box. The pump is a T/C from Howe as well as the filtered reservoir and pulley.

I am gonna help a friend acquire a new steering setup. But I believe most are switching over to KRC pump and pulley because of some trouble with the pump, is this correct.

KRC quoted me the 9.6 high volume pump with a KRC 20016 LS1 pulley. Though they recommend the 18900 high pressure /higher volume option.

Thanks,

Joel

krc is the good pump to use at this time.
talk to mrblaine about acquiring one, and install tips.
i have this set up. lee ram, and 808 box with the krc pump, and howe res. it is a damn fine set up.

blaine can also help you with a mount for the res/pump.

good luck!

I'm sure loving my KRC pump, Howe reservoir, Lee steering box, and mounting bracket-by-Blaine. Several tough trips on it and it's all working very well. No pump noise at any driving speeds.

My bracket only works from 97-99 so far as I haven't had time to fit it up to the newer rigs yet.

I don't recognize the pump numbers from KRC. If the app is a TJ, you can't run the iron pump. It has to be the aluminum version or you will smoke it.

Get some clarification on the pumps and let's go from there.
