I left the house wide open, so you can drop by anytime for a stay.

Don, It's as close as you can get to Death Valley, but I think it's just outside. If you miss the BR turn-off, you will soon see a sign saying you are entering Death Valley National Monument if you entered the area from Ballerat/Gohler Wash.

What can I say Joe, I own a Jeep to visit old ghost towns and historic sites that a 2WD can't make it to. A place with that much history was just too easy.
I'll make sure to tidy up after I visit

Cool John!

BTW: Have you explored up around the Lone Pine area? There's a trail a little south & eastward of town that takes you to a really nice ghost town. I got a map from the visitors center in Lone Pine. I haven't been up that way for a while, but it sure was nice!

sigh..... Death Valley is such a cool place, I'd like to get back there sometime and explore those trails I couldn't at the time.
