rear alignment tips and tricks
I'm going to swap in some 4.5" rear springs to see how they workout and realign my rear axle at the same time.
I have in my mind the steps I've done in the past, but I'd love to find a more predictable sequence. Can the collective brain trust discuss this again? My lift is a R/E long arm with adjustable upper and lower arms. Trackbar is adjustable with a heim at the axle. The axle side mount has a R/E relocator, is welded up to the stock mount and reinforced. Things that would help me are tips for sequence of setting things up, best places to measure for centering the axle left right and and getting the thrust angle correct. Tools I have that I've used in the past are: tape measure angle finder level plump bob Any other tools required (short of an alignment rack)? thanks, - Dan ps: I also have a laser level with a 90 degree output capabilty, but I'm not sure if it has any use in this job, but I'm looking for a reason to use it other than leveling the wall hangings in the house
