Angry 99 4.0 no start

Just did a swap, installed a 2000 4.0 in place of the 99 4.0.
New CPS, swapped TPS with the original. She cranks and pops through the intake. Almost like timing is off. I have the 2000 Cam position "thingy" in the engine now, didn't wanna touch it. Any ideas? If I disconnect the CPS, OR the Cam position sensor, I get no popping so I believe thay are both fine.
Thanks in advance

Fixed

Changed the coil rail, Vrooom. I guess the 2000 Wrangler was either bad or different than the 99 Cherokee Larado.

Did the 99's have the coil on plug rails?

Yes, both looked identical but after closer look, one had the plug straight down, the other had it coming out at an angle. I then looked at Rock Auto, and they listed different part numbers. WTF, same engine, Maybe because one was the Cherokee and one was the Wrangler.

That's why I asked because the Wranglers didn't get the coil on plug until 2000.
