Oh crap, I just weighed mine about two months ago, I can't remember if it was 4400 or 4600 even. Whatever it was, my TJ needs to lose some weight.

Jeff;
Don't you carry any spares? You must be the size of a nome.

Honestly; how can yours be so light?

A stock Zuke soft top stock is just over 2k. And just think of all the work, money, time you put into yours to get it lighter

BTW before I get flamed to bad I'm selling the Zuke and getting a CJ. So that's how much I like Zukes

Sorry, I guess I should've qualified the weight. 34940# was the weight of the vehicle (35's, cage, FT LA lift, skids, winch, spare tire, etc.) but with no doors or top and it was empty. I carry the usual spare axles, tools, parts, etc. which probably add another 200# to the mix when all is said and done. On top of that, I'm clocking in at a buck seventy-five right now.

Why do I imagine myself standing on the scale, but instead of holding my saddle, all my spares and trail gear?

Two of us were able to lift the frame of my CJ a few months ago. But the front suspension is just about finished. It might take 4 people to lift it now...

It'll probably end up at over 4,000 when it's all done.

Eh, well then I guess I dont feel that bad, considering how big my rig is (its a ZJ not a TJ)

My rig weighed

#5230 lbs... (ouch)

#2743.00 front
#2490.00 rear.

that was without tool box in the rear, me in the vehicle and a 1/2 tank of gas and 35" spare hanging off the rear.

I suspect my normal "camping" gear adds about #100lbs to it..

Time to go on a diet...

I miss my Sammi and I have to look at it each morning sitting right next door. It was super cheap to lift and modify and worked very well. Heck; I had a hybrid rear diff built for it, powdercoated and gearing installed for $649.00! Try doing that with a Jeep!
