Draglink & Tierod
I need to upgrade my steering.I have the Terra alum. stuff with the big TRE on a CRD HP60.The jam nuts keep coming loose even with red locktite & the threads are getting hammered in the alum.I was thinking of using 1.5 dom with .250 wall with threaded inserts & the same TRE.Overkill? Bad choice of material? What do you think?I have pics if needed.(large)

PM Larry over on JU if he doesn't see it here but he ran into the same problem as you with the Teracrap and went to DOM if I recall correctly.

Well I finally got all the parts(backordered-wrong stuff sent-yada yada)& pulled the old Terra steering off.The TRE's are fine but the knuckles have some marks in them from being loose at some point. Can this be used? Is it safe? What do you think? Thanks, Bob
