1981 heater core

can any of you, more experienced than i, tell me if it is easier to R&R my '81 CJ7 heater core with the dash removed or leave it in place? i have so far been told by two people 2 different scenarios.

I would look at it this way....how hard is it to remove and reinstall a CJ dash? The more room you have when doing a heater core, the easier it is in my experience. Its a PITA job any way you slice it so if you can make it easier on yourself....do it.
