Mr. Blaine?s shock relocation mod

Mr. Blaine:

I think Claytons is selling a shock mod kit VERY similar to what you do. Did they basically copy yours???

I'd like to believe that I was the first to do it to the TJ, I know I was not the first to relocate shocks, that's been around as long as there have been shocks.

There have been shock relocation kits for jeeps as long as there have been jeeps.

My way of doing it has been to use the Ford shock towers, I place the shock slightly more forward to keep it 90 degrees to the effective line of the lower arms.

And their price is not too bad.

I don?t believe I ever mentioned in my post that they shouldn?t be making money of it. I simply stated the facts as is and asked if it was the same setup Mr. Blaine is doing.

Hmmm...so that's why clayton was browsing my picture site. I noticed a few weeks ago that he had been browsing {his name came up under the visiter list many times}
