Jeepbbs Call To Arms - Cruise For The Cause 2004

Blue Ribbon Coalition
4555 Burley Drive Suite A
Pocatello Idaho 83202-1921

We the undersigned are members of www.JeepBBS.net, a members only internet site catering to people with a common interest in Jeep 4x4 vehicles, motorized vehicle recreational access to and on public lands, and the responsible use of those lands.

We share the Blue Ribbon Coalitions? mission for the protection of public land access rights, collaborative relationships with land managers, responsible land management, and the enforcement of applicable laws and regulations regarding use and behavior.

We also share the Blue Ribbon Coalitions? concern over the loss of access rights as propagated by radical groups and anti-recreational interests. While we appreciate the Blue Ribbon Coalition efforts to date, we would also like to do our part to ensure that these efforts continue. By stepping up to the plate in applying for an organizational membership in the Coalition and by making the enclosed contribution in the amount of $1,540.00, we believe we will have begun to do our part in continuing the mission.

In making this contribution, we request that the Blue Ribbon Coalition use 1/2 of the contributed amount by putting motorized vehicle access to the BLM lands of the Johnson Valley OHV site (located in Southern California) on its list of areas threatened by anti access groups. We also wish for the Coalition to continue its lobbying effort with our elected representatives both in California and Washington DC and to direct the remainder of our contributed funds to that effort.

Thank-you very much for the opportunity to join with your organization and help preserve motorized vehicle access rights to public lands.

Leave it to you Sergey to screw up the order. I know I signed it first, why am I so far down the list. Don't tell me my 5 dollar donation is what did it either.

Personally, I am astounded that we were able to do this. It does wonders for the soul to see all who are involved actually put action before babble on the 'net.

Very special thanks to Robert and Sergey. If I had to do your end of it, we'd all still be running around looking for an envelope.

Yes, I'd like to thank both Robert and Sergey for doing the heavy lifting on this one.

I've been meaning to donate to the BRC for quite some time now and I just never got around to it.

Thanks for the personal motivation.

I was glad to do it and I absolutely appreciate all of the support that was given to this effort. We've made a very positive statement here folks - putting your hard earned cash on the line says alot about the quality of folks here on this board. Bravo

Good Job to all involved!

I have to thank my buddy Ken for the use of his paypal account. Even though he won't be reading this. With out him I wouldn't have made the donation in time.

Wish I could have made it out to JV to meet a few more of you. Also wish my donation could have been a little bigger but things have been a little tighter than usual.

Wife & I had our first child recently. Wife had a few complications so I had to stick around the house a little more than planned, but the baby is doing great. Wife is getting better and things should be back to normal real soon. As normal as they can be with a newborn in our lives.

Hopefully with the success of this call to arms there are plans for similiar events.

Matt

Thanx for the donation Matt - the amount does not matter so much as the thought behind it. Glad to hear things are going better on the home front.
