Talking

Click Me

There is a gray-haired dude on that picture, talking on the phone. And, it's kind of hard to see; I think it's a woman next to him...

When Microsoft put this server together it was a proof of concept to show everyone that you could host a Terrabyte of data on a MS web server.

They couldn't find anything that was a terrabyte until they went to satalite images.

I used to work a lot with mapping software in my previous life.

Cool stuff.

Why are some in color (like Nailer's) and others are in black & white?

it's all in the type of map you're able to view. color is urban view, b&w is arial photo or something like that...then there's topo map, but those are from the 60's i think...

Disneyland from overhead is pretty cool.

There are a lot of outbuildings on the periphery that are very well hidden from the park proper.

Pretty interesting.

i'm actually just now getting to it. came inside while the air compressor fills up. those 60 gallon tanks are nice but they sure take awhile to fill up.

I just found the house I grew up in in Long Beach, it's in full glorious color and much better resolution (a much closer view) than what is available for where I live now down near San Diego. I printed out a high resolution photo of it and set it on the table where my mother sits (she moved in with us last year) to see if she will figure out what it is.
