Bent Currie Tie-rod

It seems I have a slight bend in my Currie HD tie rod. If you lay a straight along the tie rod, there is about a 1/2 inch space between the straight edge and the TR.
Is is OK to straighten this or should I get another and keep this as a spare?
If it is acceptable to straighten it, will a 20 ton press do the job or will I need something bigger?

Metal weakens as it bends. It's no longer anywhere near as strong as it was, but a 1/2" of distortion isn't too bad. Were it mine, I'd straighten it and sleeve it.

Thanks, that's what I figured. I'll just get a new one, its only about $90 then I can have a the old one as a spare
