I got an email from Sergey about efforts to defend JV: Good stuff and I hope very much that the efforts work out: it was a great place to visit!

The desert is a special place for all of us.. Well, some deserts anyway!

Thanks for popping up. Good to see you. Of course you fit in. You just need to like jeeps and be friendly to post in the Jeep Friends forum. I think I should update the forum description to make this clear. I moved your thread.

For those who don't know, William is our good old friend who was standing at the beginnings of JeepBBS. His help was instrumental to getting this community off-the ground, particularly organizing the backing infrastructure when resources were needed. William used to have a green TJ he has taken all over Southern California and on occasional long trips.

Hi Everyone,

Lemme see.. Was on Reagan for a few years, sailed it from Norfolk to San Diego, then on the first deployment (Singapore, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong).. was supposed to leave in August of 2006, relief arrived pregnant, so actually left 2007 Jan. Supposed to be on shore duty for 3 years.. 9 months later, Army training and now work in an Iraq prison.. Or rather politically correctly speaking "Theater Interment Facility". Going to be here for another 5 - 6 months. Kind of brief, but in a nut shell, a summation of my not so exciting life..
