Problems with my Warn small hub kit
I have had a problem for a long time with my hub kit. I can't seem to keep the pass. side spindle nuts tight. After many discussions with Blaine, we figured out that I had an old kit and was in need of the upgrade with hardened parts.
This new kit was acquired and was installed following Blaine's and Warn's directions. Nothing real hard about the install. It stayed tight for about two weeks. Now it is a weekly thing, every Sunday morning I go out and spent 10 minutes tightening the hub, I am getting really good at it. This morning when I got out there for what was suppose to be bussiness as usual, I noticed something different. I took off the first spindle nut and then realized the keyed washer was stuck somehow. After some investigation I found that the washer had jumped the keyway on the spindle. The washer was still on the indexed post but had turned with the hub when it loosened up. So what to do now? Any help would be appreciated. Pat
