Hey guys, I'm having issues with my ass end wandering since I installed my RE 3.5" Superride lift.

Its been aligned, and the both caster angles check out fine. Zero pull to eother side. Everything is tight and the rear axle is centered, but it still feels like the ass end is wandering. It happens the most around 40-60mph under load, but still does it slightly without gas to the pedal. I'm a rookie to coil spring lifts, but I know I did this correct.

I am using stock trackbars with fixed lower arms up front, and adjustable lowers in the rear. Rear trackbar relocator bracket, and the front was re-drilled 3/4" to the driver's side. I'm running 31x10.5x15 Procomp M/Ts that were mounted and balanced the same day as the alignment.

Any ideas or advise would be appreciated...

Scotty, they all do that to some degree..

Hopefully you did install the rear trackbar bracket?...

The wiggle you are feeling is the trackbars being at angles, and the axle being pulled to one side..

I wouldn't expect it to this degree though. I did use the bracket on the rear. Out of all the write-ups I've read on this lift, nobody ever mentioned a wandering effect from the lift. I'm just not convinced that its normal. It throws around pretty good, and 3.5" shouldn't do that.....

What tire pressure are you running? Kick it up to 28-32 PSI and see if that helps.

Did you change shocks with the lift? Soft shocks will affect this, too.

You did re-attach your swaybars, not running disco'd?

Re-check the torque on all your control arms, also.

If you are all aligned and everything is tight, your ZJ should handle like stock, at least as far as wandering on the highway is concerned.

I would check that rear trackbar bracket. They are notorious for coming loose. Make sure that all the little bolts are tight. Mine came loose once with out me noticing and the bracket was being torqued around which lead to sloppy handing.

If it is not that, check to make sure your adjustable rear arms are tight at the adjusting nut. (I don't think this would really cause your handling problems, but it couldn't hurt to check. They come loose all the time too.)

The last thing I can think of, and I know you said everything is zeroed out and you checked it but maybe you have one of your rear arms at a different length than the others?

Your front alignment might be perfect, but if you accidently adjusted a rear arm the wrong length it would still pull the rear of the jeep around.

You could measure them all just to make sure.

I have triple checked everything. The lift came with the Doetshe shocks. I measured the arms again last night, and they are the exact same length. I'm just stumped. I understand suspension geometry and this just plain stumps me.

I have done everything that I was supposed to. Sway bars are fine, and everything was installed correctly. It really wasn't that tough of a lift to install. Pinion angle in the rear is perfect too. The front is a little low, but that's because the front lower arms aren't adjustable...Nothing that I can do about it though.

I think that I am going to try a TC drop to see if it helps anything
