I guess, we don't have to meet so early. That is when we've met for the last "Pie for Breakfast" run, and it seemed to work fine.

What is your recomendation?

Andrew, I want to make you drive more.

The meeting place is the same ? "Julian Pie Company" at Santa Ysabel.

I plan to get there about 9:30 AM. 10 AM we are taking off.

So far one of the guys (ScottV dropped out), everybody else who wanted to go is a maybe. Therefore, I'll be at Santa Ysabel to eat pie, if anybody else shows up, we are going wheeling, if not, I've got other plans.

How does that sound?

You could always do pie on the 15th, and we could drive to Anza Borrego, do jeep squeeze, and heart attack hill together..

Just an option.

Maybe you should put the trip off one week. I still have to fix my jeep. I don't won't you out at LC on your own stuffed with pie. I problably can go to Borrego on the 15th.

Another guy who wanted to go (actually it was his idea) is GWHayduke. He is having some troubles with the recently completed TPI swap, and he is also not sure if he can make it.

William, 15th is my last day at work, and the first day at my new place. I am not sure I'll be able to squeeze some jeeping into it as well...

I will not wheel alone, if there are no jeeps at the Julian Pie company building in Santa Ysabel by 10 AM on Sunday, I'll just go join one of the wrenching parties or something.

I would not know if I can go till late Saturday afternoon. Since I live closer to Warner Springs and not Santa Isabel, I would not stop and have pie anyway. Sounds like this weekend is a no-go.

Wellll.... I've learned that the only way to win is with facts, or pure ignorance. I'm trying the former, because there's to much of the latter in the world.

Cool

The real world is in a state of becoming. An ideal world of unchanging being is only a state of non-being, or nothingness. Reason attempts to establish unity, as well as identity, duration, cause, materiality, and being. Reality, however, is a state of transformation, change, disunity, plurality, and becoming.

And so explains why I so much more enjoyed the Stoics.

Reading him, is like reading Joyce backwards.

Sergey,

I'm in (along with at least 1 of my kids & mayby my Rott).

If this is too short of notice to go & you've made other plans, just let me know. Otherwise, I'll contact you to hash-out details as far as a possible convoy to Santa Ysabel.

On a positive note:
With the recent rain, dust will hopefully be down.

It's a go.

I like meeting right in the Julian Pie Company building, because sipping coffee and consuming apple pie beats sitting in the jeep hungry at some gas station or parking lot waiting for everybody else to arrive.

Joe, If you want, you can get to my house at 8:00...8:15 AM, and we'll drive together. I also plan to make one stop, at Ramona to gas up, but I am not sure what time I'll be there.

Directions:

- (From the North) 15 S to 79 S through Warner Springs. Turn Rt. into driveway of company. The Julian Pie Company is located across from Santa Ysabel Post Office before Hwy 78
- (From the South) 15 N Exit Scripps/Poway Parkway Turn East on Scripps Pkwy. Turn left on 67. Go through Ramona to Santa Ysabel. Pass Dudley's bakery and turn left into Pie Company parking lot.

I will be taking 52 East to Mission George Rd through Santee, then 67 North to Ramona, then 78 East to Santa Ysabel.

To see a map, and get directions, please click here. (Let me know if the link doesn't work)

Let's use CB channel 14, for starters, and then maybe change it if 14 is busy.

Link works fine.

Sounds like a good plan. I usually stop in Ramona for gas too.

I'll call you in a few minutes, after I take care of a few items.

Sergey, I spoke to your brother earlier & just got through calling (~8:30PM). Seems I keep missing you at home.

I couldn't agree more!

I'll see you tomorrow ~8:00AM & we'll convoy.

You kept missing me, because I wasn't home.

Looks like Blake (GWHayduke) cannot go. He still has a problem with his jeep. So far, Joe and me are going to drive from San Diego for some pie in Santa Ysabel, pick up any jeepers who are joining for the run there, go to Los Coyotes, and meet up with Andrew at the gate.

I am putting the rear seat in the jeep: my brother and his friend are going.

This is a final update before the run from me.

It was a fun run Sergey! My son Jerry had a good time too.

Speaking of "This is going to be an easy run". I'll bet the guy who was on his side at the top of Left Hand Turn (he was going about it as a right turn), didn't think so.

Oh well. Glad I didn't lend him one of my Jerry cans.
