Heck yeah I'm interested!! It just so happends that some who are going in slanders thread, happends to be exactly when I won't be able to make it due to work commitments.

I have ~2.5 months of vacation saved up & need to burn some. Moab would be a great place to do so.

There are a few of us talking about going next spring Scott - after the Jeep safari and the JU run. Next year seems to gel with schedules better for some of us.

Yeah, don't get too close to those crazy JU folks. They're a bunch of degenerates for sure.

Actually you could easily go at the same time and nobody from either group would even know unless you showed up at City Market each morning. Moab is a big place to wheel!

Moab is ideal from April to June and September through October.
Even in the summer 100 degrees is about max and it cools down at night.
I've wheeled there in July and August and enjoyed it. What's a little heat to Southwest folk?

Ron....you and I are "Southwest folk". I think the rest of the folks on this thread are from CA....where the temps just don't get that warm.

You just have to be in the right part of CA, last summer when I was at Death Valley the thermometer read 139 out on the salt, it was a little warm

Usually we get a couple of days a year over 110 where I live but not that many so I'd agree we can't really measure up to AZ.

I used to live in Tucson and I thought that in moving to So Cal, I would be getting a break from the heat. Wrong - it typically runs around the high 90's to low 100's where I live in late summer and September. I think Mayish to early June for Moab next year is plenty doable for me schedule wise. I don't really care to much about the heat as long as its not 138 .
